We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join our well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement.


The successful candidate will:

  • Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment.
  • Provide effective support to the Science department.
  • Carrying out risk assessments for practical and technical activities.
  • Preparing equipment, materials and solutions and setting up/checking equipment and equipment for use in practical classes.
  • Setting up and, on occasions carrying out demonstrations. Retrieving and clearing away equipment.
  • Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct.
